Bribery allegations: Amaechi threatens to expose Buhari and others

Following the exposure of bribery allegations against Mr. Chibuike Amaechi, in an attempt to subvert the judicial process, by some Judges of the federation arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) earlier in the month, President Mohammadu Buhari is said to have come under intense pressure from the international community to investigate the validity to the claims levelled by the Judges. To this end, 247ureports.com reports that the President instructed for a probe to be lunched into the activities as alleged by the Judges. The Judges alleged that Amaechi attempted to bribe them on more than one occasion to influence judgement in favour of APC candidates at the governorship litigation process involving Rivers State and Akwa Ibom State.

According to 247ureports.com, a probe into the claims of the Judges were lunched based on the instruction of Mr. President. All of the accounts known to belong to Amaechi have been placed under watch and the historical activities of the account sequestered.

247ureports.com reports that the former Governor of Rivers State and the present Minister of Transport has chosen to expose all involved parties in the said attempted bribery of the Judges and that he has documentary evidence that shows that Buhari was in-the-know about the attempt to bribe the judges and how many of the APC campaign funds were raised. The report said that Amaechi has sent the documents to Saharareporters, with whom he has a working financial relationship to publish the documents,

According to 247ureports.com, Saharareporters will, in the coming weeks, commence the publication of the documents - that is - if the presidency continues its probe of Amaechi.
