Buhari to return 2016 Budget over missing projects

The presidency is to return the 2016 Budget to the National Assembly because of some notable projects that the parliamentarians removed (or tampered with or repackaged) from the document that was sent to the presidency for assent last thursday.

Missing or omitted or repackaged projects are;
Lagos-Calabar N60 billion removed
Idu-Kaduna rail line slashed by N8.7 billion
Major road projects slashed
Polio eradication, essential drugs for HIV/AIDS removed
Agriculture and water resources re-allocated to constituency projects.
