North Korea bans jeans wearing and piercings

North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un
Ahead of North Korea's congress of Workers Party in early May, jeans wearing, piercing and other Western styled clothings have been banned in favour of local garb.

According to Associated Press, men are to cut their hair shorter than four inches among hair styles that will be recommended and shoe shapes are to be controlled too,

These are part of the regimes attempt to look truly communist.

Sights like this will no longer be seen.
Those found guilty of this ban are likely to be sent to the country's notorious labour camps (prison).

Freedom, often taken for granted, can be very expensive.
