Mr Waripamowei Dudafa, former special assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on domestic matters was arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, on his way out of the country and was handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) .
Dudafa is on EFCC wanted list over alleged involvement in sharing N10 billion to PDP delegates at the party's presidential election primaries in December 2014.
EFCC is linking the fund as part of the $2.1 billion arms purchase fund under investigation, allegedly distributed by Sambo Dasuki.
